(Chinese Student Union at the University of Georgia) 关于修改宪章及选举推迟的公开声明 |

| 考虑到继续使用现行宪章将有可能影响我们CSU的现在及未来发展，我们积极征询了中国驻休斯敦领事馆以及ISL 的意见，并及时召开了学生会委员会全体会议加以讨论。在经过反复磋商后，学生会委员会成员一致认为既然现行的宪章存在严重问题，它将不能清楚的反映CSU组织的本质并有效维护其成员的权益并解决现实所遇到的重大问题。因此，在宪章得以全面修订之前不适宜作为CSU的纲领性文件。同时，考虑到基于宪章的选举办法亦不能反应广大CSU服务对象的整体权益并有效维护CSU的良性发展，因此，按照惯例一年一度的CSU新主席的竞选工作将不得不暂时予以推迟。关于学生会选举事宜将在广泛征求关心我们发展的广大学生学者们的意见之后予以公示，在此希望得到大家的理解和支持。 | |
